Masterclass Global Supply Chain Challenges in Antwerpen

  • De nieuwste kennis en state of the art inzichten worden direct vertaald naar de praktijk van de logistieke strateeg;
  • In verschillende opdrachten ontwikkelt u met uw medecursisten inzichten en producten die direct toepasbaar zijn voor de eigen organisatie;

More information on the Antwerp Masterclasses:

In the years to come, supply chain management and distribution logistics will be faced with fundamental changes. A recent report of the World Economic Forum (Supply Chain Decarbonization, 2009) claims 1 empty truck for every 4 trucks on our roads and an average truck utilization load of hardly 57%! Sustainable logistics is coming into focus more than ever before. How will global supply chains adapt to the reality of increasing fuel prices, together with additional and obligatory social costs, such as carbon taxes? Is it possible that increasing risks will result in a relocation of manufacturing activities back to our region? Successful supply chains will be those that are capable of improving efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability simultaneously. But how is this balance achieved? How do today’s firms prepare their global supply chains for this changing era?

The Global Supply Chain Challenges programme confronts six leading and innovative companies with these challenges and formulates responses through analysis and open discussions in a professional setting, with sound academic input and support. The interaction between the Antwerp Management School and the six companies is unique in its concept and has no equivalent of its kind.
